Camp Uhuru is a dedicated program aimed at fostering political consciousness among participants while providing insights into historical and contemporary Black organizations. The program offers a transformative experience where participants delve into critical discussions, engage with influential movements, and cultivate a deeper understanding of the ongoing struggle for Black liberation.

The Afrikan Black Coalition is proud to partner with Priority Africa Network and the Youth Vanguard of Black Lives Matter Grassroots for this year’s Camp Uhuru Political Education Summit in Oakland (Downtown).
This year’s theme: Black People Against Fascism: Which Way Forward? centers urgent questions about our current political climate and the pathways forward for movement building.
At a time of escalating political repression and authoritarianism, political education remains a critical tool for understanding the systems shaping our conditions and developing collective strategies for liberation
Camp Uhuru Political Education Summit is a space dedicated to deepening political analysis, strengthening organizing capacity, and building collective strategy toward Black liberation and self-determination.

Why Attend
We are calling on organizers, students, activists, and community members from across California to join us in strengthening our analysis of the current moment and building the skills necessary to advance liberation work in our communities. Together, we will deepen political understanding, sharpen strategy, and build collective capacity for long-term movement work.

Individual Registration: $25 per person
Group Registration: $60 for a group of 3
